LitBuy levels, points and Lit Prime
Two counters, one subscription and one reward balance. The rules for earning them are public; the size of most benefits is not.
Levels L0 to L5: how growth points work
The announcement “LITBUY Membership System Is Live!” (18 September 2026) sets the level rules. Your level rests on cumulative international shipping spend: CNY 1 of international shipping is one growth point. There are six levels, L0 to L5. A level, once reached, is permanent, with no downgrade or reset, and shipping you paid before the system launched is counted automatically.
Two things follow. Item spending does not move your level at all; only international shipping does. And because levels never fall, there is nothing to maintain once you have one. You check your level under Account Center, Membership.
What a level gives, as far as anyone outside can tell
The announcement says higher levels unlock “shipping discounts, free storage, shipping coupons, QC, return/exchange benefits, and more”. It gives no figure for any of them, and it does not say how many growth points each level needs. The /membership page redirects visitors to a login screen.
We therefore print no level thresholds and no benefit sizes. If you have an account, the Membership page shows your own numbers; treat those as true for your account on the day you read them.
Lit Prime: a paid subscription with an unpublished price
Lit Prime is LitBuy's paid membership. The announcement lists better international shipping rates, more coupons and order benefits, priority packing, free storage, exclusive QC and return or exchange benefits, and dedicated customer support. It runs on a 30-day membership cycle, and LitBuy says benefits become active immediately after you subscribe.
The price is not published, nor is the size of any benefit. LitBuy also says levels and Lit Prime can be enjoyed together, with the system automatically applying the best available discount where applicable. How it picks the best one is not explained, so the sorter treats that sentence as a gap rather than a sum.
Free storage in the announcement, nothing in the storage policy
Both the level list and the Lit Prime list name “free storage”. LitBuy's storage policy, updated 30 June 2026, gives every item its first 90 days free once it is stocked, a daily charge starting on day 91 worth 0.2% of what you paid (at least CNY 1 and at most CNY 300 per item per month), and disposal once fees have gone unpaid for over 30 days. It does not mention levels or Lit Prime at all.
So the announcement names a benefit and the policy has no place for it. We do not guess at its size. Plan storage by the policy, and if your account shows a longer free period, take a screenshot with the date before relying on it.
Points: earning rules and exclusions
The Points Rules notice sets out the loyalty programme. Item purchases earn 50 points per CNY 100 spent, Pending after payment and Available once the items are in the warehouse. Shipping earns 50 points per CNY 100, Pending after payment and Available once the parcel ships. A daily check-in at the Points Center earns 3 points, with streak bonuses of 10, 20, 30 and 50 points at 7, 14, 21 and 28 days; check-ins reset at 00:00 Beijing time and a missed day restarts the streak at day 1.
Nothing is earned on payments made with Sparks, coupon and promotional discounts, shipping insurance, value-added services, storage fees, or refunded or cancelled orders. Points never expire, but they stay inside LitBuy: no cash exchange, no transfers between accounts.
Two counters with similar names
Growth points and Points are separate. Growth points decide your level and come only from international shipping, one per CNY 1. Points are spent in the Points Shop and come from items, shipping, check-ins and events, 50 per CNY 100 for spending. Redeeming Points does not lower your level, and growth points cannot be spent.
Sparks are a third balance. LitBuy's privacy policy describes Sparks as an activity reward with no currency status: they cannot be traded or transferred, cannot be withdrawn, come from shopping, check-ins, product reviews and sharing, and can reduce item prices or shipping. Points can also be redeemed for Sparks in the Points Shop.
Before you count on a membership benefit
- Look up your level or Prime status in Account Center and screenshot the benefit page with the date.
- For storage, keep planning by the 90-day policy unless your account shows otherwise in writing.
- If you might apply for a share reward, remember rule 3 waives returns whatever level return benefit you hold; LitBuy has not said one overrides the other.
- Check in daily only if the streak is worth it to you; a missed day restarts it.
