The hands behind these perk notes

Card describing who writes this site and how it relates to LitBuy
Who we are, in four lines.

LitBuy Spreadsheet Perk Terms is written by the editors of litbuyfinds.org, an independent guide. We are a LitBuy partner: links to LitBuy carry our invite code. That relationship does not let us see inside accounts, change any rule or speak for LitBuy, and nothing here is LitBuy's official wording unless it sits in quotation marks with a source.

Corrections and questions about this site go to [email protected]. Questions about your own order, coupon or reward go to LitBuy support.

How the conditions are gathered

Method diagram: read the page, match the condition, date it, test links
How each condition gets onto the site.

We read LitBuy's public pages in a browser and, where LitBuy's own pages load data from public feeds, we read those feeds too: the coupon overview, the event list, the help articles and the notices. Each condition on this site is matched to one of those sources and the date we read it. Where two LitBuy pages disagree, both appear, labelled.

Links to outside pages are tested before publishing. Discord invites are checked against Discord's own invite lookup, which is how the dead footer invite was found.

What we will not publish

Card listing six kinds of content this site refuses to publish
Six refusals and why.
  • Coupon codes, coupon values or totals of what a pool is worth.
  • Savings estimates, combined-coupon sums or rankings of perks or agents.
  • Reward amounts shown in LitBuy's scrolling winners list.
  • Community member counts, app ratings or download numbers.
  • Lit Prime prices, level thresholds or benefit sizes that LitBuy has not published.
  • Any suggestion that QC photos, evidence or returns can show whether a product is genuine.

Why this site exists

What this site adds.

Perk pages usually describe what you get. The conditions that come attached are spread across a rewards page, several help articles, a notice board and policy pages, and some of them are expensive to miss: waiving returns on an order, losing future eligibility by deleting a post, or losing an invite programme's appeal route. Collecting them in one place, with sources, seemed more useful than another list of coupons.

The site also works as a LitBuy Spreadsheet catalogue, so the conditions sit next to the products they apply to.

Corrections, expiry and review dates

Table of review intervals for each group of pages on this site
Review intervals from our freshness list.

Every page carries a review interval in a freshness list that we keep alongside the site: 14 days for pages with live end dates (home, coupons, sorter, updates), 30 days for the share reward and membership pages, 45 days for the rest. When an interval runs out, the page is re-read against LitBuy's current text before its date changes. An end date passing triggers the same review early.

If you spot an error, write to [email protected] with the page, the sentence and the LitBuy page that says otherwise. We correct the text, change the read date and add a line to the change log on the updates page. We do not take requests to add codes, values or rankings; the refusals above apply to everyone.
